Alamance County Emergency Management works with local governments, public safety agencies, community partners, and other organizations to prepare for, respond to, recover from, and reduce the impacts of emergencies and disasters.

Alamance County Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)
The Emergency Operations Plan establishes the framework for how Alamance County and its partner agencies coordinate during emergencies and disasters. It outlines responsibilities, resources, and procedures used to support an organized response and recovery to a variety of hazards and emergencies.

Haw River–Eno River Hazard Mitigation Plan
The Haw River–Eno River Hazard Mitigation Plan focuses on reducing the long-term risks associated with natural hazards. The plan identifies hazards and vulnerabilities within the participating communities and establishes strategies and actions intended to reduce future impacts to people, property, infrastructure, and the environment.

These plans are important tools for building a safer and more resilient community. They are reviewed and updated as needed to reflect changing hazards, community needs, available resources, and lessons learned from past events.
