Prepare a Home Emergency Kit

Following an emergency, you may need to survive on your own for a couple of days until emergency services can gain access to your home. It is important to be prepared for this possibility, so that you are more resilient and self-sufficient following an emergency. Being prepared means having enough essential items, like food and water, stored to help you last at least 72-hours following an emergency.

Remember to build your kit to ensure you, your family members, and pets are able to remain self-sufficient.
