Child care Subsidy will assist children from birth to 12 years old.
All responsible adults in the household must be working and/or going to school.
If you are pregnant and are planning to return to work, please contact our department after the child is born to be added to the childcare waiting list.
 It can take up to 30 days to process an application. Parents should submit an application 30 days before the anticipated start of child care.

 If you have a two parent household, you are required to submit income information from both parents. However, if one parent is absent from the household, the other parent must provide you with a statement of their contribution to the family (if applicable).
Yes, all income coming into the household is counted.
The case head is responsible for reporting all changes within 10 days of the change occurring. Failure to do so could result in a referral to the fraud department.
All parent fees are paid to the provider of your choice. Please consult the provider regarding when and how fees are due.
Subsidy funds do not cover any additional fees, such as application nor registration fees. Please research this information when choosing a provider.
